The film '30th' continues its remarkable box office success in October, drawing significant attention overseas. '30th' is a comedy that revolves around 'Jung-yeol' (played by Kang Ha-neul) and 'Nara' (played by Jung So-min), who, just 30 days away from becoming perfect soulmates, develop mutual amnesia due to each other's quirkiness.
'30th' was released in the United States on October 6th and subsequently in the Philippines on October 18th. It's confirmed to be released in Indonesia on November 1st, Thailand on November 9th, and Vietnam on November 10th. Additionally, the remake rights for '30th' have been secured in China. A competent veteran production and distribution company in the Chinese film industry, known for producing more than 50 films over the past decade and actively engaging in remake film production and distribution, has finalized the '30th' remake.
Barunson E&A's International Business Team, responsible for '30th's overseas sales, expressed their anticipation for the remake, saying, "'30th' is a unique concept with consistent humor, intriguing situations, and appealing characters, making it a work that garnered significant interest for a remake. We actively pitched to overseas production companies from the initial introduction to the overseas market, and the response to the film has been very enthusiastic. Moreover, there have been continuous remake inquiries from various regions such as Southeast Asia, France, and the United States, indicating the possibility of additional remakes besides China. '30th' has maintained the top position at the box office since its release in South Korea, gaining attention, and overseas distributors are eagerly preparing for its release. This has increased expectations for its future performance."
