Jimin's solo album "FACE" ranked 19th in the 2023 Year End Billboard Japan "Top Album Sales" category released by Billboard Japan, the best Korean solo artist.

"Face" debuted at No. 1 on the chart with its release on March 24 and remained on the chart for four weeks, and was the only Korean solo artist to be in the top 10 with the 9th place in the first half of the chart.

As if to prove this, it recorded more than 250,000 cumulative shipments as of March 2023, and was honored by the Japan Recording Association (RIAJ) to acquire the first and only platinum certification in the history of K-pop solo artists with a Korean album.

In addition, it performed outstandingly on the Billboard Japan Comprehensive Album Chart, debuted at No. 1 in the first week of its release and ranked 20th on the "Hot Album" year-end settlement chart for seven weeks, and also debuted at No. 1 and ranked 17th on the "Download Album" settlement chart, which has been on the chart for nine consecutive weeks.

In addition, Jimin ranked 89th in the year-end settlement following the first half of the year when he ranked first in the "Artist 100" chart, which was the first foreign solo artist in Japan, and shone with high popularity and influence in Japan this year.

Earlier, Jimin was named in 13 categories on Billboard's Year End Chart, setting a milestone for K-pop soloists with the most entries in a year in the history of the chart.

In particular, "FACE" set a monumental record in the history of Korean solo singers, the first and only chart in the main chart of Billboard's album category, "Billboard 200," and ranked in four albums, the highest record for Korean solo singers.

In addition, with the title song "Like Crazy" and the pre-released song "Set Me Free Pt2", Jimin ranked in four singles, the most as a Korean solo artist in the artist category, proving that he is the best artist in the home of pop in name and reality.

Jimin, who spent a brilliant year with his solo debut and became the first Korean solo artist to top the U.S. Billboard's Hot 100 and the first and only "Artist 100" in the U.S., is the only Korean solo artist to have the best performance in the U.S. and Japan, and has a reputation as an icon of this era.
