The new mini album 'Ready to be' by the K-pop girl group TWICE has surpassed 1.7 million pre-orders, breaking their own record. According to their agency JYP Entertainment on March 8th, TWICE's 12th mini album, which will be released on March 10th, has surpassed 1.7 million pre-orders as of March 7th. This marks another million-seller record for TWICE following their previous album 'Between 1&2' released in August last year.

Their latest title track and pre-release single 'Moonlight Sunrise' also created a buzz, ranking 84th on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart on February 4th, heightening anticipation for their comeback.

Among K-pop girl groups, BLACKPINK currently holds the record for the highest pre-order sales with over 2 million copies of their second full-length album 'Born Pink' released last year.

Recently, TWICE made history as the first K-pop female artist to win an award at the 2023 Billboard Women In Music ceremony, further increasing their global recognition.

K-pop group TWICE's new mini-album "Ready to be" has surpassed 1.7 million pre-orders, breaking their own record. According to their agency JYP Entertainment on the 8th, TWICE's 12th mini-album, which is set to be released on the 10th, has surpassed 1.7 million pre-orders as of the 7th. This marks the second time TWICE has hinted at a million-seller record, following their last album "Between 1&2" released in August of last year.

The title track of their new album, "Set Me Free," is a song that contains a progressive message about promising to put everything on the line to protect the newfound love after realizing their true selves hidden inside. The groovy bassline, majestic strings, simple yet powerful sound, and delicate yet bold vocals express the precarious yet audacious emotions.

To celebrate their comeback after a seven-month hiatus, TWICE has planned a full-fledged global promotion. On March 9th, they will perform their new song "Set Me Free" for the first time on the American NBC show "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon." They will also hold a comeback live in New York on the 11th.

In April of this year, they will kick off their fifth world tour with 17 solo concerts in 14 cities across Australia, Japan, North America, and Seoul. In particular, they will hold their first-ever Japanese stadium concerts for a K-pop girl group at Yanmar Stadium Nagai and Ajinomoto Stadium in Osaka and Tokyo, respectively, in May. They will also perform at LA's SoFi Stadium in June and New York's MetLife Stadium in July.

TWICE's "Ready to be" will be available for streaming on various domestic and international music platforms at 2 PM on the 10th, Eastern Standard Time in the US, or midnight Korean time.
