Ju Won is oozing with charm in his upcoming drama.

tvN's new Thursday-Friday drama "Stealer: Seven Souls of the Joseon Dynasty" (written by Shin Kyung-il, directed by Choi Jun-bae, produced by Studio Dragon, co-produced by Curo Holdings and Studio VLE Plus) premieres on April 12. The caper comic action drama follows Skunk, a cultural asset thief, and the unofficial cultural asset recovery team Karma as they take on those who can't be judged by the law. In the drama, Ju Won plays the role of Huang Dae-myeong, a government official with a secret double life.

Meanwhile, "Stealer: Seven Souls of the Joseon Dynasty" teases the appearance of a new dark hero in Korea's cultural heritage through its second teaser, which depicts a day in the lives of Huang Dae-myeong and Skunk, the thief of cultural assets.

First, Huang Dae-myeong's unusual behavior during work hours, such as sleeping with earplugs in his ears or wearing toy glasses with painted-on eyes while taking a nap, is amusing. His strong-willed personality is evident when he yells and jumps out of his hiding place in response to the screams of his junior employee Jin Ae-ri (played by Min Soo-hwa).

There's a reason why Huang Dae-myeong only sleeps during work hours. When the sun goes down and the night falls, when cultural asset smugglers are most active, he transforms into Skunk, a thief who steals from other thieves while wearing a black mask. The fact that Huang Dae-myeong, who used to show off his stolen treasures with a serene smile, is Skunk, who has stolen enough cultural assets to fill an entire wall, piques the viewers' curiosity.

Viewers are left wondering why Huang Dae-myeong chose to disguise himself as Skunk. The story of why he chose this path to recover cultural assets in a world where they are traded by smugglers is told through Skunk's declaration, "There is no other way."

The fact that Skunk and Huang Dae-myeong's faces alternate on screen as they say, "I am the Skunk," and remove their masks respectively, adds to the anticipation of what kind of double life the dark hero will lead.

"Stealer: Seven Souls of the Joseon Dynasty," featuring Ju Won as a dark hero, is sure to be a hit. The drama premieres on April 12 at 10:30 p.m.
