Lee Hwan, who was searching for Kim Myung-hee and Lee Soo-chan, panics at the sight of bloodstains and Kim Myung-hee's luggage, thinking that many people will die because of his foolishness. This scene evokes the curse, "Many will die because of your stupidity."

Meanwhile, Kim Myung-hee and Lee Soo-chan are also looking for Lee Hwan, and Kim Myung-hee, who realizes her feelings for him, searches for him despite her injured leg.

They find Lee Hwan in the east, but he is already heavily wounded by the attackers. He collapses, and Kim Myung-hee and Lee Soo-chan cry in despair.
