The movie 'Concrete Utopia' has raised anticipation for the drama that unfolds after a disaster by unveiling the first set of survival stills. On the 20th, distributor Lotte Entertainment released the survival stills of 'Concrete Utopia'. The film depicts a disaster drama set in Seoul, which has turned into ruins due to a massive earthquake, and follows the story of survivors who gather at the only remaining Hwanggung Apartment.

The revealed stills capture the impressive images of individuals who have managed to survive in their own ways within the Hwanggung Apartment, the only structure that remains intact in Seoul. The still of the new representative of the residents, Yeongtak (played by Lee Byung-hun), who is willing to face any danger for the well-being of the residents, showcases the solid charisma of actor Lee Byung-hun, overwhelming the viewers with his presence.

The still of Min-seong (played by Park Seo-joon), whose sole goal is to protect his family, promises a new side of Park Seo-joon, depicting the character's inner depth like never before. Additionally, the still of Myeong-hwa (played by Park Bo-young), who maintains her beliefs even in the midst of a disaster, captivates attention with Park Bo-young's clear gaze, perfectly embodying the character with unwavering determination.

The still of Geum-ae (played by Kim Seon-young), the chairwoman of the women's association in Hwanggung Apartment, provides a glimpse of her quick adaptability to changes through her exceptional judgment. On the other hand, the stills of Hye-won (played by Park Ji-hu) and the uncooperative resident Do-gyun (played by Kim Do-yoon) create a tense atmosphere, heightening expectations for the disaster drama where tension never subsides. Kim Seon-young, Park Ji-hu, and Kim Do-yoon inject vitality into their realistic characters making different choices for survival, further enhancing the audience's immersion.

Based on the popular webtoon series 'Yu Kwaehan Wangdda' by Kim Sung-nyung, which garnered praise since its serialization in 2014, 'Concrete Utopia' is an adaptation of the second part, 'Yu Kwaehan Iwoot' ('Cheerful Neighbor'). The movie is scheduled to be released in August.
