Netflix series "Kyungsung Creature" has unveiled the main poster and main trailer, providing a glimpse into the essence of creatures and the beginning of a grand story on the 7th.
"Kyungsung Creature" tells the story of two youths in the darkest spring of 1945, where survival was everything, facing a monster born out of greed.
The poster, with a sunset-stained sky and fluttering cherry blossoms, evokes a romantic atmosphere. However, the ominous Ongseong Hospital and its long tentacles reaching out from within imply a massive secret that they must confront. The cast, with their distinctive presence, also catches the eye.
From the top intelligence officer in Kyungsung, Jang Tae-sang (Park Seo-joon), to the skilled professional Yoon Chae-ok (Han So-hee), aristocrat Madam Maeda Yukiko (Suhyun), Geumokdang's Nawolmae (Kim Hae-sook) and Goo Gap-pyeong (Park Ji-hwan), Chae-ok's father Yoon Jung-won (Jo Han-chul), Ongseong Hospital's Kato Jung-jwa (Choi Young-jun) and Ichiro (Hyun Bong-shik), to the moonlight bar's Na Young-chun (Ok Ja-yeon), nine characters stand on the boundary between splendor and darkness, promising a compelling drama about Ongseong Hospital's secret.
The accompanying trailer starts with the fearful and desperate face of Jang Tae-sang (Park Seo-joon) facing an unknown entity. Jang Tae-sang, the leader of Kyungsung's top store Geumokdang, seeks help from Yoon Chae-ok (Han So-hee), a skilled female investigator, and Yoon Jung-won (Jo Han-chul) to find a missing person before the cherry blossoms fall. Chae-ok, who joins hands with Tae-sang to find her missing mother from ten years ago, hears a rumor that patients transferred to Ongseong Hospital never return. Motivated by their individual purposes, they decide to infiltrate the hospital. Tae-sang and Chae-ok start unraveling the massive secret of Ongseong Hospital and confront the dark greed slowly revealing itself beyond the glamorous streets, engaging in a heated struggle.
"Kyungsung Creature" Part 1, depicting tragic events at Ongseong Hospital and the fateful stories of those who encounter them, will be released exclusively on Netflix on December 22, and Part 2 is scheduled for January 5, 2024.
