Seventeen, Earthshaking Speech at UNESCO Headquarters "Too Young to Give Up... Will Keep Moving Forward"
- The group Seventeen made history as the first K-pop artists to take the stage at the UNESCO headquarters. On the 14th in Paris, France, at the main hall of the UNESCO headquarters, Seventeen delivered a speech and performance at the 13th UNESCO Youth Forum. Seventeen became the first K-pop artist to be allocated an entire session during the UNESCO General Assembly, conducting a session for approximately one hour. On this day, Seventeen spoke on the theme of "Youth Solidarity and Education Changing the Future of Youth and the Earth." The member who began the speech first, Seungkwan, mentioned his hometown, Jeju Island, stating, "I grew up with my own dreams on this beautiful island, although it's a faraway island from the capital, Seoul. Dreaming of a bigger world and the dream of becoming a K-pop star, performing in front of countless fans someday." He expressed his overwhelming emotions by saying, "The little boy who dreamed of the future on the island designated as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site is now standing at the UNESCO headquarters today." Continuing, member Jun delivered his speech in Chinese, mentioning the other members, "We are each other's teachers. We practice together, create together, and have become better individuals gradually. Today, Seventeen is standing here because we faced difficult situations and didn't give up. The 13 of us have helped each other, step by step, to come this far, and we will continue to move forward," expressing their determination. Woozi reflected on the journey to this day, saying, "There were people who thought Seventeen would fail in the early days, but today, I think we are here because we didn't give up. We were too young to be discouraged. Success didn't come quickly, but the time spent burning with passion with the members was always enjoyable. The members were always cheerful, never losing their laughter in any situation. Our practice room was always filled with positive words like 'fighting' and 'a little more.' Believing that focusing on the cheerful voices of the members rather than the negative external words, I became more convinced that things would go well with these friends," mentioning each member's name with confidence. In the fall of 2016, Mingyu revealed an episode where, after receiving his first settlement, he donated 13 goats to children in Tanzania, Africa. Mingyu received a letter from the children, and he shared, "The message said, 'I will raise the goats well for my dreams.' This message stayed with us for a long time. It reminded us of the journey we've been on for our dreams. Sharing dreams is, in essence, sharing positivity and hope." Joshua promised to actively participate as a UNESCO ambassador to raise awareness about the importance of education in the current era. Vernon continued by reading the lyrics of Seventeen's songs. In the subsequent performance, Seventeen selected a total of five songs, including "World," "Darling," "Headliner," "Music's God," and "Let's Go Together," eliciting a passionate response from the audience.

Actress Ahn Eun-jin: "The reason I didn't engage in intense physical affection with Lee Do-hyun is..."
- Actress Ahn Eun-jin shared her thoughts on working with Lee Do-hyun in the drama 'Bad Mom.' 'Bad Mom' tells the story of Yeongsun (played by Ra Mi-ran), who had no choice but to become a bad mother for the sake of her child, Kangho (played by Lee Do-hyun), who turns into a child and searches for the lost happiness. Ahn Eun-jin played the role of Lee Do-hyun's childhood friend and former lover, Imi-joo. She mentioned that she conducted research from various aspects to bring credibility to their romance. Ahn Eun-jin explained, "In the beginning, I thought the crucial scenes were the ones that portrayed Imi-joo and Kangho's past. Looking back now, it was a challenging choice realistically. I wanted to show that regardless of the choices made, Imi-joo could be that person who experienced that time with Kangho, who loved him, relied on each other, and supported each other." Ahn Eun-jin also mentioned, "I didn't aim for a pretty portrayal. Although we had a beautiful love, I believed it was important to show what kind of love it was. Instead of intense physical affection, I wanted to portray how comfortable they were with each other, how they found happiness together. So, I had many conversations with Lee Do-hyun, discussing whether we should wear couple pajamas or even making phone calls to enhance that connection," she laughed. 'Bad Mom' concluded with its 16th episode on the 8th.

In "The Huntresses," Park Sung-woong said, "I'm BB, the bromance broker."
- Park Sung-woong delivered a humorous remark at the press conference for the new Netflix series "The Huntresses," held at Hotel NARU Seoul M Gallery in Mapo-gu, Seoul on the 7th. He said, "I'm BB, the bromance broker." Regarding "The Huntresses" being described as a bromance paradise, Park Sung-woong joked, "I'll break all of that." He continued, "I filmed my first scene the day after Uhm Tae-woong was discharged from the military, and it was freezing cold. The glass windows were all shattered, creating an outdoor feeling. When I had action scenes with him, I put in a lot of effort, and I thought, 'Who is this guy?' It made me even more alert." He added, "He was a junior who was helpful to his seniors." When asked about filming action scenes as a graduate of the Action School, Park Sung-woong said, "I play a cunning character who will do anything to win, utilizing everything at my disposal. I had the final action scene with Uhm Tae-woong, and he really came in as a sincere fighter. I could feel the force as he approached me, but he still considered me as his opponent. I thought, 'This guy must have learned action really well.' Even though it was tough, he asked for an extra rehearsal whenever there was a chance."

With the public's attention focused on Im Ji-yeon's next project as the leading actress, she revealed her reason for joining "The House with a Courtyard," stating, "I fell in love with the original novel and the script. Even if it wasn't the role of Sang-eun, I would have chosen to participate. The common denominator between the two women was impressive, and as an actress, I wanted to experience the lives of women who live like that. Additionally, I was curious and intrigued about the unfolding story while reading the script." Above all, Im Ji-yeon finds herself in a situation where she has to portray a character who is completely different in terms of visuals and personality compared to her previous work. Although it may be challenging to immerse herself in this new role, Im Ji-yeon stated, "The character felt like something I really wanted to portray while reading the script. Rather than finding it difficult to immerse myself, I saw it as another challenge as an actress. It was a project I had chosen before my previous work was released, and coincidentally, two contrasting characters came back-to-back. Rather than wanting to erase the previous character, I am excited to showcase a new side to the viewers."

These scenes intertwine the memories of Ban Ji-eun's 18th-life, where she lived as Yoon Joo-won, and her past life with Moon So-ha, adding to the lingering emotions. Particularly, the memories of their past lives serve as a catalyst that strengthens Ban Ji-eun's determination in her 19th life. The photo collage technique connects their past and present lives, capturing the happy memories of the two individuals with a vintage yet warm mood. In the midst of it all, attention is drawn to the last photo. As Ban Ji-eun and Moon So-ha reunite in their 19th life, their gaze towards each other is affectionate. Their faces reflect a tender excitement, and Moon So-ha looks at Ban Ji-eun with a heartwarming gaze that seems to remember their past together, creating a romantic atmosphere. The question arises whether Ban Ji-eun and Moon So-ha will be able to fulfill the unfinished bond from their past lives in the 19th life and have a happy ending. The unfolding reincarnation romance between the two characters has garnered much interest.

"Dazzling" Lim Soo-jung, Jung Soo-jung, Jeon Yeo-bin, and even 70-year-old Park Jung-soo... Goddesses of "Spiderweb" [at the Cannes scene].
- From actor Song Kang-ho to Jung Soo-jung, the main cast of the film 'Spiderweb' walked the Cannes red carpet. On the 25th, at 10:30 p.m. local time (5:30 a.m. on the 26th Korean time), the official screening of 'Spiderweb' took place at the Lumière Grand Theatre of the Cannes Palace Festival in the south of France. Director Kim Ji-woon, who directed 'Spiderweb,' as well as actors Song Kang-ho, Lim Soo-jung, Oh Jung-se, Jeon Yeo-bin, Jung Soo-jung (Crystal), Jang Young-nam, and Park Jung-soo all made their appearances at Cannes. Inside the theater, their red carpet moments were broadcasted live, and there was even cheering when Song Kang-ho's face appeared. Song Kang-ho, a frequent guest of the Cannes Film Festival known for his roles in 'Parasite' and 'The Broker,' and other Korean stars, shared the spotlight on the red carpet. Song Kang-ho and Oh Jung-se wore formal black suits as they stood in front of the cameras. Jeon Yeo-bin, Jung Soo-jung, Lim Soo-jung, and Park Jung-soo each showcased their own unique styles, enhancing their individual charms on the red carpet. Jeon Yeo-bin captivated attention in an elegant white dress, while Jung Soo-jung charmed with a fresh and vibrant nude-tone pink dress. Lim Soo-jung wore a dark off-shoulder dress, and Jang Young-nam appeared in a white maxi dress on the stage. Park Jung-soo, who is 71 years old this year, exuded an elegant atmosphere with a golden-colored dress. They enjoyed the night of the Cannes Film Festival, striking poses with a relaxed demeanor and taking selfies with the backdrop of the press. Meanwhile, 'Spiderweb' is a film that depicts the desperate and comical (funny and sad) events that unfold as director Kim (played by Song Kang-ho), who becomes obsessed with the belief that the ending of his previously shot film 'Spiderweb' in the 1970s would be better if re-shot, proceeds with the shooting despite obstacles from the censorship authorities and the actors and producers who do not understand the changed content, just moments before going insane due to unfavorable conditions. Song Kang-ho, Lim Soo-jung, Oh Jung-se, Jeon Yeo-bin, and Jung Soo-jung (Crystal) are among the leading roles. It is the latest work by director Kim Ji-woon, known for films such as 'A Bittersweet Life,' 'The Good, the Bad, the Weird,' and 'The Age of Shadows.'
